Happy Friday from Vegas, friends, and cheers to the weekend! We flew in last night to celebrate Mr. Sugarplum… I surprised him with tickets to the Eagles at the Sphere!
I wouldn’t say I’m a mega-fan of the Eagles, but I’m so excited to experience the Sphere! Have you been yet? I’ve heard shows there are incredible… they should be considering what they charge for tickets!! I could get one of these bags for what we paid, ha!
Today I’ve got a fun Dressing Room Diaries for you, and this month we’re doing things a little different. Rather than all the cute new arrivals I’ve ordered, I’m sharing just my faves! These are styles I loved so much, they’re staying in my closet for the season!
Fit Note: I’m 5’4″-ish, 125 pounds-ish, with a slight pear shape. My usual size is XS/2.
Denim //
We’re kicking things off with jeans that literally every woman needs in her closet! They’re a brand new style from my fave denim brand, Risen, and I can’t recall the last time a pair of jeans made me feel this confident!
Super soft with the right amount of stretch, they’re a high-rise with great pocket placement. And did I mention they give you legs for dayyyyysssss?! They are longer, perfect for pairing with a heel for a night out. Plus, my code is active for 15% off this weekend! (code SUGARPLUM15)

You’ve seen these jeans before… they’re one of my very favorite styles… and they’re finally back in stock in both olive and black! They’re soft and stretchy, with cute front pockets and a great cropped length. Also worth noting, every time I wear them my husband comments all day about how much he loves them, so there’s something going on with them!

Dresses //
Next up is dresses… you know they’re my favorites! I just love the ease of a one-and-done outfit, plus the longer options are perfect for transitioning to Fall. Starting with this super-chic midi dress, in a crisp cotton with the most flattering dart details at the waist!
I love the longer, full sleeves and the style is perfect with flats, booties, and even sneakers. It comes in several prints, but the leopard was calling my name!

Collared Spotty Maxi Dress

I love the simplicity of this dress, it just feels so chic and effortless! The top is a knitted sweater, and the full skirt is a crisp cotton poplin and fully lined. It has a heaviness to it that makes it fall-appropriate, especially with a jacket or blazer thrown over.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size Small dress, but don’t size up.

Another leopard print, this dress is so fun and flirty! In fact, I packed it for the concert tomorrow night (I’m pairing it with this jacket)! It’s a sheer woven material, fully lined in the body, with full sleeves, a smocked waist, and tiered skirt. The top has a slightly deeper plunge, making it great for a night out.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS dress. It does run short, so I’ll pair it with a flat.
Tiered Chiffon Dress

I love that this dress feels like summer, but looks like fall. The print and colors are perfect for the season, and the shape is so easy and forgiving. I’ll pair it with a knee-high boot when it cools off a little more.

You may recognize this dress… I ordered it from this post! I’m not exactly sure where I’m wearing it yet, but it’s one of those I loved too much not to keep! It’s a sturdy cotton, with a fitted bodice and the cutest peplum trim! The fit-and-flare shape is super flattering, and the straps are adjustable.

Brown is everywhere this season, and it’s especially fresh paired with black. Yes ma’am, you can pair brown and black, as long as the hues have enough separation. This midi has a soft, stretchy knit top and crisp bottom. It easily dresses up or down with the shoe and accessories… plus the price is great! (Because I found it on Amazon!)

Can you tell by my smile how much I love this one?! It’s super soft and lightweight, but the colors are stunning for fall! Wear it loose or belted, it has a full princess sleeve and smocked neckline.

They say when you find a style you like, grab it in every color. Well, I now own this dress in two prints! I love the relaxed fit and bold prints, it’s darling with sneakers and booties, and even sandals, making it the perfect transitional dress.

Sweaters & Tops //
It’s a little early for sweaters, but I’m keeping both of these for when the time comes! I’m crazy for the stripes and neckline, plus they’re soft and cozy. You may recognize these jeans… they were best-sellers from this year’s NSale, and finally back in stock!!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size Small/Medium in the pink, and size Small in the white. The jeans run a touch big, but I went with my usual size 2 for more of a trouser fit.

It’s hard to see the print of this top in my pic, but it’s the perfect, preppy black watch plaid! It’s my fave of the plaids, especially moving in to holiday season (it’s less in your face, and dressier than tartan plaid). This top is a crisp, taffeta style with a tall collar and puffed sleeves. You could easily dress it up for holiday with a velvet pant or satin skirt, or just pair it with your fave denim.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS top, but I’d size up if in-between.
